SONBAHAR ORTASI FESTİVALİ

SONBAHAR ORTASI FESTİVALİ

The Chinese community worldwide celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar, Hasat Ayı'na karşılık gelen. Bu nedenle Hasat Ayı Festivali de, Sonbahar Ortası Festivali olarak bilinir.

Chinese families and other cultures from the Sinosphere celebrate this day with a reunion supper, lanterns, Ve, most significantly, mooncakes. During this time, you can also see beautiful tanglungs hanging in front of Chinese homes.

Mooncakes are shaped like the full moon, which is believed to be the brightest and roundest at Mid-Autumn. The full moon represents the completion of the reunion of family and friends, as well as harmony and unity. This is why families should celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival together by sharing a family supper and mooncakes.
