On May 28th, as the Dragon Boat Festival approached, our company had a special celebration to show our gratitude to every team member.

Each employee received three thoughtful gifts from the company. Первый, there were zongzi, those delicious rice dumplings filled with various ingredients. They symbolize an upwardly mobile life, just like we hope our business will keep rising. Второй, each person got a random gift box filled with surprises, like snacks, small stationery, or useful daily items. И третий, we handed out fresh salted duck eggs. With a golden – looking yolk inside, they represent the hope for a prosperous life. What made this event even more heartwarming was that the boss himself delivered these presents to every employee, personally wishing each one “Dragon Boat Festival peace and well – being.”

The Dragon Boat Festival has a long – standing history. It dates back over 2,000 годы. Legend has it that the great poet Qu Yuan was deeply concerned about his country’s situation. He was very patriotic but was slandered and exiled. In despair, he drowned himself in the Miluo River on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. The local people, in an attempt to save him, rowed their boats out onto the river and also threw zongzi into the water to prevent fish from eating his body. That’s why today we have dragon boat races and eat zongzi during the festival.

This festival is not just about these traditions. It holds deep significance. It is a time to remember the spirit of patriotism that Qu Yuan showed. His love for his motherland still inspires us.
